Welcome to the Ferryway School
I am very honored and proud to be the Principal of the Ferryway School. I am in my 35th year as an educator in the Malden Public School System. I began my career in Malden as a Special Needs teacher at the Browne Junior High School in 1974. I then became the Vice Principal of the Browne Junior High in 1986. I remained in that position until the school was closed in 1991. I then became the Vice Principal of the Malden Middle School until June 1999.
I was very excited to be part of the staff that opened the doors of the Ferryway School in the fall of 1999. As I begin my 9th year as Principal of the Ferryway School, I encourage parents to become involved with the education of their child. My door is always open to meet and discuss matters with parents, staff and students. We have a wonderful school made up of a staff that strives each day to meet the challenges and rewards of educating the youth of today. Together we can make a difference.
