Leading the Salemwood K-4 school is a new administrative team: Mrs. Phyllis Brandano Assistant Principal and Dr. Jonathan Ponds Principal. The K-4 school administration is excited about many of the academic and non-academic activities taken place at the school. Academically, the K-4 school is implementing the district wide reading and math programs:Reading Streets and Think Math. The non-academic activites are two before school and after achool programs. The K-4 school, for instance has a morning program, morning breakfast program, and an after school program. Lastly, the K-4 school is collaborating with the ESL department, the Title One department, and the PTO to provide the following parent engagement activities: monthly parent breakfast forums, English classes for parents, and Spirit Nights. the K-4 administration team is excited about this school year.
